Not necessarily, but it's worth evaluating. If your gutters are 15+ years old, sagging, or have multiple failed seams, replacing them at the same time as your roof makes sense — the labor is already mobilized, sequencing is easier, and bundled pricing is better. We'll assess your gutters during the roof estimate and give you an honest recommendation.

Most Charlotte homes do well with 5" K-style gutters. Homes with steeper pitches, longer roof runs, or larger drainage areas benefit from 6" gutters, which handle significantly more water volume. We measure your roof's drainage area and recommend the correct size during your estimate — not just the cheapest option.

Quality micro-mesh guards work very well and dramatically reduce cleaning frequency for most homes. Cheap plastic screens often do more harm than good — debris gets trapped in the mesh and the guards themselves become a maintenance problem.
