Seamless gutters and gutter guards installed by our own crew β never subcontracted. Available in 8 colors. Priced right when paired with a new roof.
Gutters are the most overlooked part of a roofing system β and one of the most important. When gutters fail, clog, or pull away from the fascia, water overflows and pools against your foundation, saturates your soffit, and backs up under your shingles at the roof edge.
Charlotte's heavy rain seasons make properly functioning gutters essential. We install 5" and 6" seamless aluminum gutters custom-fabricated on-site for your home's exact dimensions β no seams means no leak points along the run.
We do all gutter work with our own crew β not subcontracted. The same team that installs your roof installs your gutters, so everything is coordinated properly at the drip edge and fascia level.
Custom-fabricated aluminum gutters with no seams along the run. Available in K-style and half-round, 5" or 6" width, in 8 colors. Hangers spaced 18" apart β stronger than the standard 24".
LeafGuard one-piece hoods and micro-mesh screens that keep leaves and debris out while allowing water flow. Eliminates seasonal cleaning for most homes.
Sagging gutters, disconnected downspouts, failed end caps, and leaking seams repaired by our crew. We also re-pitch gutters that drain too slowly or overflow at corners.
Full gutter cleaning including downspout flush. We remove all debris, check hanger integrity, and confirm proper drainage β leaving you with fully functional gutters.
Downspouts should discharge at least 6 feet from your foundation. We install and extend downspouts to protect your foundation from water damage and basement moisture.
Rotted or damaged fascia boards often go hand-in-hand with failing gutters. We repair or replace fascia and soffit before hanging new gutters for a solid anchor.
Not all gutter guards are equal. Here's how the most common options compare β and what we recommend for Charlotte's tree coverage and rainfall.
| Feature | Plastic Screen | Micro-Mesh β | Solid Hood (LeafGuard) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cost | $ Low | $$ Mid | $$$ Higher |
| Blocks Debris | Large debris only | All debris incl. pine needles | Leaves and large debris |
| Maintenance Needed | Yearly cleaning | Minimal β 3β5 years | Occasional rinse |
| Lifespan | 3β5 years | 15β20 years | 20+ years |
| Best For | Budget situations | Most Charlotte homes β | Heavy leaf coverage |
Twice a year is the standard β once in late spring after seed pods and flowers drop, and once in late fall after the leaves come down. Charlotte's abundant tree coverage (oak, maple, pine) means gutters fill faster here than in many other cities. Homes with pine trees may need three cleanings due to year-round needle drop.
Not necessarily, but it's worth evaluating. If your gutters are 15+ years old, sagging, or have multiple failed seams, replacing them at the same time as your roof makes sense β the labor is already mobilized, sequencing is easier, and bundled pricing is better. We'll assess your gutters during the roof estimate and give you an honest recommendation.
Most Charlotte homes do well with 5" K-style gutters. Homes with steeper pitches, longer roof runs, or larger drainage areas benefit from 6" gutters, which handle significantly more water volume. We measure your roof's drainage area and recommend the correct size during your estimate β not just the cheapest option.
Quality micro-mesh guards work very well and dramatically reduce cleaning frequency for most homes. Cheap plastic screens often do more harm than good β debris gets trapped in the mesh and the guards themselves become a maintenance problem. We only install products we're confident in: LeafGuard hoods and quality micro-mesh options.
