The best time for most desert trees is late winter (January–February) or just before monsoon season (May–early June). Pre-monsoon trimming is essential — it reduces canopy weight and removes dead limbs before haboob winds arrive. Avoid trimming in extreme summer heat (July–August) as it stresses trees when they're already taxed. Palms can be skinned year-round but look best done before summer.

Small trees (under 20 feet) typically run $150–$300 per tree. Medium trees (20–40 feet) run $300–$600. Large mature trees or palms may run $500–$1,000+. We always provide a free quote after seeing the tree — size, canopy density, access, and proximity to structures all affect pricing. Multi-tree discounts available for properties with 5+ trees.

Mesquites are one of Arizona's toughest and most beautiful desert trees, but they do have aggressive root systems that can damage irrigation lines and sometimes foundations if planted too close. We can assess root proximity for free. Regular trimming keeps mesquites healthy and reduces storm risk. If the tree is too close to the house, we'll tell you honestly — along with your removal and replacement options.

Yes — full cleanup and hauling is included with all trimming and removal jobs. We chip smaller branches on-site and haul away all debris. We'll also blow down any leaves or twigs that landed on your roof, patio, or pool deck during the job. We don't leave your yard until it looks clean.
